This historic property, once known as Waterford Gardens, holds a legacy we're proud to protect and bring back to life.
The site was originally owned by William Tricker, a trailblazer in commercial water lily culture dating back to 1895. His groundbreaking work in hybridizing and cultivating lilies helped shape the future of aquatic plant farming. His name still appears today on classic lily varieties and in historical horticultural records.
At Fitz Fish Ponds, we’re restoring the original greenhouses and honoring the roots of one of the first water lily farms in the country. The legacy lives on, and we’re proud to welcome a new generation to this unique space.

We’re proud to introduce our fifth location, just outside Peddler’s Village in New Hope, PA. Managed by Tom Swinarsky, this store brings something fresh to the FFP family—a full outdoor showroom showcasing our landscape, hardscape, and pond construction work all in one space.
Inside, the store is fully stocked with essential pond and landscape hardgoods, and we’ll soon be offering top-quality Japanese Imported Koi. Doors officially opened in March 2024, with our Grand Opening Celebration held April 20–21.

Our Chattanooga location marks an exciting chapter for Fitz’s Fish Ponds. Formerly known as Aquanooga, this well-loved pond supply store had been a staple in the community. When news broke it was closing, FFP Founder and CEO Brian saw a chance to keep the tradition alive—and expand the FFP mission into Tennessee.

New Retail Store in Franklin, TN Opening This Spring!
FFP Franklin, TN – Opening Spring 2025
Fitz’s Fish Ponds is bringing our passion for ponds, koi, and aquatic design to Franklin, TN with the opening of a brand-new retail store this spring. This marks an exciting step in our continued growth, allowing us to better serve the Southeast and connect with more pond lovers in the region.
Leading the charge in Franklin is Tim Bock, a longtime FFP Pond Construction Sales Manager with nearly a decade of experience. Joining him is his son, Tim Bock Jr., making this move a true family effort. After relocating to Tennessee, the Bocks are now ready to bring FFP’s trusted expertise to the local pond community.
Tim Bock Sr. has played a vital role at FFP through his hands-on background in pond builds and water feature design. The decision to open a retail location in Franklin came naturally—especially with growing demand for FFP’s services across Tennessee.
