Japan Trip in Jan/Feb
The All Japan Koi Show Trip provides you with a chance to visit the best Koi show in the world. Up to 4000 Koi can be entered into this show, ranging from 3″ to 40″ plus.
The team usually arrives on Friday and stays in the heart of Tokyo. They travel to the Koi show on a Saturday morning and spend the entire day at the show. You can look around at the amazing Koi and also the many dealers who now take their goods to the shows. Some of the most top of the line and innovative products will be displayed for the first time at the AJKS.
On Sunday the team may visit the show again in the morning before hopping on the famous Shinkansen (Bullet train) to Nagaoka. The team will transition into the koi buying part of the trip.
The team will collect the truck/cars and then head straight into the mountains and start looking at Koi and meeting the breeders. The FFP Team has a long standing relationship with the top breeders in Japan so you will have the best access to the highest quality koi.
The All Japan Koi Show is mainly for our hobbyist clients. KoiTrips stays an extra week after the Koi show to accommodate dealers who are looking for Koi.
Weather: This is a cold time so please bring jackets and good boots for the mountains. There will be heavy snow which makes the mountains even more beautiful.
