This plant is easy to care for, thriving under moderate to high lighting conditions, which promotes more compact and lush growth. While CO2 injection is not strictly necessary, it is recommended for optimal health and vitality. Regular applications of liquid fertilizer are crucial for achieving a healthy size, with ideal nitrate levels between 10-20 mg/l and phosphate levels ranging from 1-2 mg/l, along with sufficient micronutrients and iron to encourage fast growth and abundant lateral shoots.

Lobelia cardinalis grows relatively slowly and maintains a controllable height, making it especially suitable for Dutch-style tanks where it is often used to create visually appealing ‘streets.’ Its unique leaf structure and size add a formal touch to aquascapes, making it an excellent choice for hobbyists looking to design a sophisticated and elegant layout in their aquariums.

• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
