Tyler joined Fitz’s Fish Ponds in the spring of 2022 as a Customer Experience Associate and Service Technician. With a strong background in plumbing and customer service, he quickly proved to be a valuable asset to the team. In March 2023, Tyler was promoted to Service Department Manager, where he now leads the department with a focus on training, field support, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Before joining FFP, Tyler worked as a Customer Service Manager at Overhead Door in Branchburg, overseeing a dispatch team and managing residential repair services. He also spent several years in residential plumbing and continued his education in the trade, building the knowledge he brings to his current role. His plumbing skills and versatility in the field have helped the Service Department grow and thrive.
Tyler grew up in Whitehouse Station and has always been drawn to nature. He spent his childhood fishing and catching turtles at the lake near his home, often keeping them in tanks before releasing them back into the wild. Now living in Milford with his wife, three cats (including one rescued from the farm), and a South American Pineapple Conure, he enjoys spending his downtime gaming and being with his pets.
Tyler’s favorite part of the job is helping customers—especially new pond owners—fall in love with their water features. Whether he’s in the field with the team or assisting behind the scenes, he’s passionate about guiding clients through pond ownership and problem-solving along the way. From Koi Fest to shipment days, Tyler thrives in collaborative, hands-on environments and is proud to be part of the FFP family.
