Kelly O’Hara: Service Department Manager

Kelly O’Hara brings more than 20 years of customer service experience to her role as Service Department Manager at Fitz’s Fish Ponds. Originally from New Jersey, she spent time living in both Florida and California before returning home—where she came across FFP and immediately felt it was the right fit. After doing her research and touring the farm, Kelly joined the team in December 2022 as a Customer Experience Associate and was promoted just one year later.

 

In her current role, Kelly manages the service department with a clear focus on providing a smooth and professional experience for every customer. She works closely with both the office staff and service crew to ensure communication flows seamlessly, which helps support long-term relationships with clients and keeps the entire operation moving efficiently. Kelly is also a connector between departments, helping customers explore everything FFP offers across service, retail, and koi sales.

She says the most fulfilling part of her job is talking with customers, offering real solutions, and watching her team grow and succeed. With a natural ability to motivate others, Kelly leads with the same passion she brings to every conversation—always putting people first.

 

One of her favorite memories so far has been KoiFest 2023, where the entire FFP crew came together to create a fun, rewarding day for customers. Seeing the turnout, meeting clients in person, and celebrating the team's hard work was an unforgettable experience. Whether she’s supporting her crew or helping a customer feel heard, Kelly plays a huge part in what makes the FFP experience so special.
