Initial Fish Health “Well” Visit

Our licensed Veterinarian and Fish Health team specialize in all things aquatic: general wellbeing, diseases, treatments, surgery, pond ecosystems, and more. Upon arrival, we will meticulously assess the pond, thoroughly test water parameters, and examine the ecosystem and filtration in depth.

During the initial assessment, we will conduct a distance examination of the fish to identify any visible health concerns. If necessary, this may be followed by a more detailed examination, involving the careful capture of fish for closer scrutiny. Our priority is to ensure a precise evaluation of their overall health.

By initiating the "Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship" (VCPR) during a routine check-up, in the event that your fish face illness, we can promptly administer treatment without the need for a veterinarian to make an on-site visit. This proves crucial, especially in time-sensitive situations. This will also establish a standard reference point to gauge the health status of your fish.

What you need to know about an initial well visit:

• The price starts at $575. If additional services are performed, there will be additional charges.
• This visit typically lasts 45-60 minutes.
• Our veterinarian will be accompanied by a Fish Health Technician.
• The “Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship” (VCPR) will be established, which allows us to complete follow up treatments without a veterinarian being present.
