Pogostemon stellatus 'Dassen' is a striking, fast-growing stem plant known for its unique structure and vibrant coloration. Featuring thick, segmented vertical stems adorned with long, thin leaves, this regal aquatic plant stands out with its rich golden-green hues on top and vivid purple undersides. In optimal conditions, mature leaves can reach up to 3 inches in length, showcasing a tasteful serration along the edges. While this plant thrives with moderately advanced growing techniques, it is relatively hardy and will flourish if provided with the right conditions.

For the best growth and coloration, Pogostemon stellatus 'Dassen' benefits from high-intensity lighting and CO2 supplementation. In lower light and without CO2, it may grow slimmer and greener. While the substrate type is not critical, a nutrient-rich environment supports healthy development. Like most stem plants, it propagates easily through cuttings or side shoots. • You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
