Mike Milazzo – Fish Care Specialist
Mike Milazzo joined Fitz’s Fish Ponds in August 2021 as the Fish Care Specialist. He holds a degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Landscape Design from Delaware Valley University. Growing up, Mike was always outdoors—fishing, exploring ponds, and developing a deep love for aquatic life.
At FFP, Mike is responsible for monitoring water quality, performing slime coat biopsies, and ensuring the health of every koi in the greenhouse. He pays close attention to fish behavior and tank conditions, adjusting feeding schedules and aeration to create a calm, balanced environment.
Mike also helps with customer visits at the farm, assisting in catching, bagging, and preparing koi for shipment. He enjoys educating others about koi varieties and takes pride in sharing his knowledge with both customers and team members.
Whether it's preparing tanks for new shipments or mentoring others on koi care, Mike’s passion for fish and commitment to their well-being shine through in everything he does. He’s a key part of the FFP team—and a big reason the koi are always thriving.
