Anubias heterophylla, also known as Congo Anubias, is a hardy and visually striking freshwater aquarium plant prized for its large, vibrant green leaves and exceptional durability. Native to Central and West Africa, this tall Anubias species can reach up to 24 inches in height, making it an excellent midground or background plant for medium to large aquariums. Its broad leaves add bold texture and a lush, natural look to aquascapes, especially when attached to driftwood or rocks. Thanks to its sturdy growth habit, Anubias heterophylla is a great choice for community tanks, including setups with cichlids or other fish that may disturb more delicate plants.

This low-maintenance aquarium plant thrives in low to medium lighting and tolerates a wide range of water parameters, including temperatures from 58 - 86°F and pH levels between 5.6 and 8.0. Like all Anubias species, it should be planted with its rhizome exposed or attached to hardscape to prevent rot. Anubias heterophylla grows slowly, requires minimal trimming, and can be easily propagated by dividing the rhizome, making it ideal for beginners and experienced aquarists alike. Its resilience, adaptability, and timeless appearance make it a dependable and attractive addition to nearly any freshwater planted aquarium.

• Free Shipping is valid for orders with a subtotal exceeding $199 and all orders will be shipped via UPS. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm will ship the following day. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm on Friday will ship Monday.
• Koi Fish and Live Plants only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery are not eligible for free shipping. There items will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Return shipping cost are covered by the customer and some items returned will result in a restocking fee. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
