Bacopa monnieri Compact is a versatile aquarium plant known for its dense, low-growing habit.  This compact variety of Bacopa monnieri, or water hyssop, thrives in both bright and moderate light conditions, making it perfect for creating lush, bushy carpets or mid-ground plantings in your aquarium. By regularly pinching off vertical shoots, you can encourage the plant to produce numerous side shoots, maintaining a neat, compact appearance.

To ensure optimal growth, Bacopa monnieri Compact benefits from bright light (0.5 watts per liter or more), although it can adapt to lower light levels. The addition of CO2 and a nutrient-rich substrate will support more robust and compact growth. In high light and CO2 conditions, maintain sufficient nitrate (around 5 mg/l) and phosphate (0.25-0.5 mg/l) levels to promote healthy development. Bacopa monnieri can also grow in brackish water. This hardy plant enhances your aquarium with its attractive, bushy form and vibrant green foliage, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
