A unique feature of Fairy Moss is its symbiotic relationship with Anabaena, a nitrogen-fixing blue-green algae. This partnership allows A. caroliniana to naturally fertilize other aquatic plants by releasing nitrogen, making it a beneficial addition to any planted aquarium. Its rapid propagation and ability to provide shade make it ideal for aquariums with low water flow.

Caring for Fairy Moss is simple. Its only major requirement is minimal surface agitation, as it thrives in aquariums with gentle water flow. This floating plant does not require CO2 supplementation and can grow quickly with just basic aquarium fertilizers. • Koi Fish only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
