How To Use: 

1. Carefully take the plant out of the cup and thoroughly rinse off the growing media (agar) in a container of water. 
2. Split the plant in 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors. Definitely use sharp scissors to separate any small foreground plants. 
3. Plant the portions into the substrate using tweezers, then watch them grow!

Known as "Araguaia", this plant is thought to be a form of Hygrophila lancea from Japan and Hong Kong, despite its name referencing a river system in Brazil. It grows to a height of 4–8 inches and spreads 2.5–6 inches wide, with compact, tightly arranged leaves and a natural tendency to branch. Regular pinching of stems helps maintain its bushy appearance. Under optimal conditions, its foliage develops stunning reddish-brown to purple hues. With a moderate growth rate typical of Hygrophila, this plant adds vibrant color and texture to any aquascape.

• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
