Marsilea hirsuta, commonly known as water clover, is an aquatic fern native to the marshes and floodplains of Australia. When grown emersed, it has a unique leaf shape, resembling a four-leaf clover. This plant is comparable to Glossostigma elatinoides in appearance but is more undemanding, thriving under moderate light conditions and with a regular supply of nutrients. This makes it a popular choice among aquascapers for a foreground plant. For more compact growth, stronger light and CO2 injection are recommended.

Marsilea hirsuta is easy to propagate as new rhizomes and leaves form from the pieces planted in the substrate. Plants grown emersed may take time to acclimate, once adapted they grow steadily by sending side shoots out from the main rhizome. This plant's ability to spread across the substrate while keeping its rhizome hidden makes it an attractive, low-maintenance option for aquariums.

• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery are not eligible for free shipping. There items will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Return shipping cost are covered by the customer and some items returned will result in a restocking fee.
• To receive a refund for Live Plants, you must email ecommerce@fitzfishponds.com with the image of the item in the original packaging for review.
• To ensure Live Plants have the best chance to arrive without issue, it is recommended to select next day air or two day shipping options.
