Believed to be native to Africa, Mini Water Lettuce has spread to many waterways worldwide. Although relatively small compared to other water lettuce species, it grows quickly and propagates easily, making it ideal for aquarists. Its long roots create excellent breeding grounds for species like rainbow and rice fish, providing a safe environment for eggs and fry. If the plant begins to take over, it’s important to trim it back to maintain balance in the tank.

Mini Water Lettuce is easy to care for but requires some attention to light exposure. Additionally, because of its rapid growth, it may overrun the aquarium and restrict light penetration or gas exchange, so regular thinning is necessary. It grows best in relatively still water with minimal current and benefits from fertilizer to support its high nutrient demands.

• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
