Jenn joined Fitz’s Fish Ponds in August 2022 with a clear mission: to help guide the company’s exciting expansion into the world of aquariums. With more than two decades of hands-on experience as an aquarist, she was the natural choice to lead the charge. Her role as Aquarium Department Manager reflects not only her deep knowledge of the aquatic world but also her ability to inspire both customers and team members alike.

Jenn’s background includes over 20 years of working with freshwater fish, live plants, and intricate aquascaping designs. She’s been immersed in the hobby since childhood and has built her career in pet retail and education, making her an approachable and knowledgeable resource for beginners and seasoned aquarists alike. Her passion lies in cultivating lush, planted tanks and creating balanced, natural ecosystems where fish can truly thrive.

Her approach is grounded in both science and creativity. Jenn focuses on growing live aquatic plants and designing aquariums that replicate nature, believing that healthy environments lead to healthy fish. Whether she’s helping a customer select the right setup or designing a custom aquascape, she brings patience, experience, and an educator’s heart to every interaction.
