How To Use: 

1. Carefully take the plant out of the cup and thoroughly rinse off the growing media (agar) in a container of water. 
2. Split the plant in 6-8 portions using your fingers or sharp scissors. Definitely use sharp scissors to separate any small foreground plants. 
3. Plant the portions into the substrate using tweezers, then watch them grow!

Schismatoglottis prietoi is a compact and versatile aquatic plant that resembles Anubias, featuring smooth, elliptical leaves approximately 1–3 inches long with broadly wavy edges. Native to fast-flowing rivers in the Philippines, this unique species is the only Schismatoglottis known to thrive fully submerged, forming dense, attractive clusters in aquariums. This hardy plant grows well under medium to low lighting and tolerates temperatures from 68–82°F, pH levels of 6.5–7.5, and soft to hard water, making it easy to maintain in a wide variety of aquarium conditions. Schismatoglottis prietoi produces runners when planted in the substrate, providing fast coverage and easy propagation through rhizome division. It can also be attached to rocks or driftwood, allowing for versatile aquascaping designs. • Free Shipping is valid for orders with a subtotal exceeding $199 and all orders will be shipped via UPS. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm will ship the following day. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm on Friday will ship Monday.
• Koi Fish and Live Plants only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery are not eligible for free shipping. There items will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Return shipping cost are covered by the customer and some items returned will result in a restocking fee. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
