Staurogyne sp. 'Bihar' is a distinctive aquarium plant originally imported from the Bihar region of northern India, initially thought to be a Hygrophila species. However, its floral characteristics suggest it belongs to the Staurogyne genus. This rare plant features partially lobed submerged leaves, resembling Hygrophila pinnatifida, with an intriguing color range from olive green to reddish-brown, depending on lighting and nutrient conditions.

Though Staurogyne 'Bihar' is becoming more accessible in the U.S., it remains uncommon in the aquascaping hobby. In Europe, it has yet to gain widespread recognition, making it a unique choice for collectors and enthusiasts looking to add an exotic touch to their planted tanks.

• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
