MICROBE-LIFT/Nite-Out II is the ideal solution for pond waters containing marine life. This product features a highly-specialized microbial consortium of nitrifying cultures designed to eliminate ammonia through the natural biological process known as nitrification. The cultures in MICROBE-LIFT/Nite-Out II establish, promote, and stabilize nitrification in pond waters, effectively eliminating the toxic effects of ammonia.

MICROBE-LIFT/Nite-Out II consists of select microorganisms that are autotrophic, meaning they can use carbon dioxide as their sole source of carbon. They have a relatively slow growth rate, with typical cell division rates ranging from 8 to 16 hours. The performance and growth rate of these microorganisms are influenced by specific environmental parameters necessary for nitrification.

It's important to note that these microorganisms are highly oxygen-sensitive and require high dissolved oxygen levels (greater than 2 mg/L) for maximum growth rates. Nitrite, produced by beneficial bacteria in the pond during the oxidation of harmful waste ammonia excreted by fish, can be damaging to fish health, although not as toxic as ammonia.

• Free Shipping is valid for orders with a subtotal exceeding $199 and all orders will be shipped via UPS. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm will ship the following day. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm on Friday will ship Monday.
• Koi Fish only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable.
