Under the leadership of Takayoshi Omosako, Ehon Gyo achieved success with Shiro Utsuri koi and genetically bred them for twelve consecutive years, winning the All Japan Comprehensive Nishikigoi Fair Grand Prize.

Omosako bred Shiro Utsuri koi with sumi pattern black (sumi) markings and a pure white shirt. Musashi, a Shiro Utsuri koi they bred, grew to 92 cm long and received the 85 Bu Kokugyo prize in the 36th All Japan Koi Show.

Apart from Shiro Utsuri, Omosako Koi Farm cultivates other varieties such as Showa, Ginrin Shiro Utsuri, Ginrin Showa, Kujaku, and more. It has nearly 40 mud ponds and seven indoor facilities, which enable it to produce over 40 thousand Shiro Utsuri annually.
