Distinctive Black Bekko Markings

Bekko koi are admired for their recognizable black sumi markings set against a contrasting base color. This pattern creates a clean, balanced appearance that appeals to hobbyists who appreciate understated Japanese koi varieties. The combination of classic Bekko markings and flowing butterfly fins gives this 20cm koi a distinctive look.

Smooth Doitsu Appearance

Doitsu koi are known for their reduced scaling, which creates a smoother appearance compared with fully scaled varieties. This characteristic adds visual interest to the Butterfly Doitsu Bekko and allows its base color and black markings to remain the focus. The combination of Doitsu features and traditional Bekko patterning makes this koi an appealing choice for collectors.

Elegant Butterfly Fins

One of the standout features of Butterfly koi is their long, flowing fins. These elongated fins create graceful movement in the water and distinguish Butterfly varieties from standard-finned koi. Paired with the smooth Doitsu appearance and contrasting Bekko markings, the fins give this koi an elegant silhouette.
