Distinctive Ochiba Coloration

Ochiba are appreciated for their subtle combination of gray-blue and brown coloration. Often compared to the colors of autumn leaves resting on water, this earthy palette gives Ochiba their recognizable character. The contrast between the cooler gray-blue tones and warmer brown markings creates a natural, understated appearance that complements brightly colored koi in a mixed pond.

Unique Aragoke Scale Pattern

The Aragoke characteristic adds distinctive texture to this Ochiba variety. Its pronounced scale pattern creates additional visual interest, setting it apart from koi with a more typical scale appearance. Combined with the traditional Ochiba coloration, this feature gives the fish a unique look that appeals to koi keepers seeking something different for their collections.
