FFP Teams Up with The Scout Guide Two Rivers and the Shore

In March of 2022 Fitz’s Fish Ponds opened the Colts Neck Retail Store Location. In our short time there we are finding the Colts Neck and shore community to be one that truly values local businesses. While Fitz’s Fish Ponds is growing, we are committed to having a presence within the local communities we serve. We came across The Scout Guide: Two Rivers and the Shore and felt that it would be the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to providing our services to this community. Through this experience, we have had the opportunity to network and make some great connections with other local business owners in the shore region.
Kathy Kamatani, editor and owner of The Scout Guide: Two Rivers and the Shore makes highlighting and connecting local businesses her priority as she pieces together the guide and selects businesses that she would feel confident featuring. She hosts numerous networking events including a summer Meet and Greet at One Willow in Atlantic Highlands as well as a magazine launch party which occurred earlier this December at Red Horse by David Burke in Rumson, NJ. We are very proud and honored to be featured in this publication alongside some wonderful business owners and we hope to continue to grow our network amidst the shore region.
In order to put the publication together, Kathy scheduled a photoshoot with a wonderful photographer, Bilimama Photography and we traveled to a customers formal pond out in Kinnelon, NJ and then traveled out to our headquarters at the Farm in Milford, NJ to showcase the different scope of work we can provide. We had a blast on this long photoshoot day and both Kathy and Bili enjoyed touring our facilities and feeding the koi!
It then came time to comb through the gallery put together by the photographer and work together to come up with a spread that accurately reflects all we can provide! It was a true team effort between Steve, Lauren, Rae and AJ from FFP and Kathy and Jamie, from The Scout Guide and we are thrilled with the way it came out. We wanted to show that we could provide formal, natural and glass aquarium ponds as well as showcasing some of the other services we can provide through FFP Landscapes and Stonework such as outdoor kitchens, stone patios and walkways as well as pergolas etc.
We are excited to announce to the FFP community that The Scout Guide Two Rivers and the Shore Vol. 11 is out and we are thrilled to be a part of this community!
