Our first Aquascaping 101 class on December 14th was a huge success! This intimate workshop introduced a group of enthusiastic beginners to the fundamentals of aquascaping. Participants left feeling confident, inspired and eager to embark on their own aquascaping journeys. Some have already started setting up new tanks, ready to apply the unique techniques they learned.

What is Aquascaping 101?
Aquascaping 101 is a hands-on workshop designed for beginners; no matter if you’re completely new to aquascaping or aquarium keeping in general. In just one hour, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of how to start and maintain a thriving planted aquarium.
With small class sizes of around 10 people, participants benefit from personalized guidance and plenty of time to ask questions that matter and help them learn. This interactive format makes it easier to understand the fundamentals of aquascaping, ensuring that you leave feeling confident and excited about your new hobby.

The class is led by Jenn, our Aquarium Department Manager, who brings over 20 years of aquascaping experience and 15 years of teaching expertise to the table. Jenn’s approachable teaching style ensures that even the most inexperienced participants feel comfortable and are ready to dive in.
Throughout the session, Jenn encourages students to:
