Constructed from durable polyethylene with a superfine 180-micron mesh, The Bag™ securely contains even the smallest filter media and resins while allowing excellent water flow throughout your filtration system. It is the recommended filter bag for Seachem Purigen® and is fully compatible with all Seachem filtration media, including Purigen®, CupriSorb™, MatrixCarbon™, PhosGuard®, and other fine filtration resins.

Measuring 5" x 9.5" (13 x 25.5 cm), this reusable aquarium filter media bag holds approximately 500 mL of media and features a convenient plastic locking zip tie closure for quick filling and secure operation. Resistant to bleach, caustics, and acids, it is specifically designed to withstand repeated regeneration cycles without compromising performance.

Tips for Best Performance

• Place The Bag™ in an area of strong water flow for optimal filtration.
• Avoid overfilling to maintain proper seam integrity and water circulation.
• Rinse or regenerate compatible media as directed for extended use.

• Free Shipping is valid for orders with a subtotal exceeding $199 and all orders will be shipped via UPS. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm will ship the following day. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm on Friday will ship Monday.
• Koi Fish and Live Plants only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
• For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery are not eligible for free shipping. These items will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
• You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Return shipping cost are covered by the customer and some items returned will result in a restocking fee. • To receive a refund for Live Plants, you must email ecommerce@fitzfishponds.com with the image of the item in the original packaging for review.
• To ensure Live Plants have the best chance to arrive without issue, it is recommended to select next day air or two day shipping options.
