Project Spotlight: The FFP Barn Renovation!

The barn at our FFP Headquarters went under major renovations and the results are simply beautiful! A new pergola and patio with synthetic turf, a water garden with a waterfall, an awesome outdoor kitchen with a wood fire pizza oven and our FIRST EVER glass aquarium koi pond.
The Glass Koi Aquarium
This glass koi aquarium is the FIRST ever built by FFP and we are excited to be able to now bring this into your backyard. This glass koi aquarium is built with a 4x8 viewing window, although the size can be tailored to your choice. We received some guidance and advice from some additional experts in our industry. Tim Waddington from Quality Nishikigoi and Mark McKinney from Clearly Aquatics came and helped us tweak a few things with this build. We learned a lot while building this pond and we can't wait to showcase these koi with more ponds just like this one.
The Water Garden
This project also features a hybrid water garden with advanced filtration. One of the highlights here is the massive 10 ft piece of bluestone that was sourced from a friend's in PA. The bluestone not only acts as a bridge, but it also stops the flow of the waterfall just enough so that the koi still benefit from the aeration and the viewer gets a crystal clear still water view of the koi.
Additional Features
We also built an outdoor kitchen with a wood burning pizza oven set amidst the water garden and formal koi glass aquarium.

A beautiful pergola with a flagstone patio and synthetic turf as well as a retaining wall were built to add more seating for entertaining. The FFP Team also enjoys the pergola and patio set to gather while we work.
