Description
The Hosokai Pond Pack stocks your pond with Japanese imported koi measuring 5 to 6 inches each, raised from quality Hosokai bloodlines. At this size the color and pattern are already well developed, so the group reads clearly from the edge of the pond on day one.
What You Receive
Each pack is selected for contrast, mixing colors, patterns, and metallic finishes rather than repeating the same fish. Choose a pack of 3, 5, or 10 depending on pond volume and how heavily you want to stock.

Stocking Notes
Koi at this size still have most of their growth ahead of them, so plan filtration and stocking density around mature fish. Consistent water quality, aeration, and a stable temperature during acclimation matter more to long term color than anything you feed.

Shipping & Returns
- Free Shipping is valid for orders with a subtotal exceeding $199 and all orders will be shipped via UPS. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm will ship the following day. Items purchased for delivery after 3pm on Friday will ship Monday.
- Koi Fish and Live Plants only ship Monday- Wednesday. For orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday, the order will be shipped the following Monday.
- For Motor Freight (LTL) Shipments, oversized or heavy items unsuitable for traditional parcel delivery are not eligible for free shipping. These items will be dispatched through a motor freight carrier, as indicated on the product page. Once the carrier receives your order, they will reach out to arrange a delivery time. An individual aged 18 or older must be present to sign for the delivery.
- You may return or exchange an unused or unopened item for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of purchase. Following 30 days, the item may be returned in exchange for a store credit. Return shipping cost are covered by the customer and some items returned will result in a restocking fee. - To receive a refund for Live Plants, you must email ecommerce@fitzfishponds.com with the image of the item in the original packaging for review.
- To ensure Live Plants have the best chance to arrive without issue, it is recommended to select next day air or two day shipping options.
- Used chemicals and fish food are not returnable. In addition, all sales on Japanese Koi are final and non-refundable. Should you have any questions or concerns when your fish arrive, please call 908-420-9908.
