In 2025, Koi Fest evolved into something even more dynamic, debuting our Sushi & Hibachi Night—an experience inspired by the mystique of the dragon and brought to life through the striking Aragoke koi. Known for its armor-like, dragon-scale patterning, the Aragoke became a symbol of the event itself: bold, immersive and rooted in tradition while pushing the experience forward.
Koi Fest 2024 leaned deeply into its Japanese roots, highlighted by the iconic Tancho Kohaku and the introduction of a Torii Arch within the event branding. Symbolizing honor, identity and tradition, the Tancho set the tone for a culturally immersive weekend—punctuated by the unforgettable phrase, “If you don’t got a Tancho, you’re not the head honcho!”
Koi Fest 2023 brought the summer vibes front and center with the refreshing beauty of the Asagi—and turned up the excitement with the launch of the first-ever Koi Auction. From cool tones to fast-paced bidding, the weekend delivered a fresh, fun and unforgettable new chapter for Koi Fest.
It all started here. The first-ever Koi Fest launched with the bold beauty of the Showa and a simple mission—celebrate koi. What began as a passionate gathering quickly became something bigger, uniting a community and setting the stage for the growth of Koi Fest.

Koi Fest began as an end-of-season blowout sale for Fitz’s Fish Ponds, but it quickly evolved into something much bigger—a one-of-a-kind event for the koi community. We saw an opportunity to create a festival that not only celebrates the beauty of Japanese koi but also brings together enthusiasts, hobbyists, and industry professionals for an unforgettable experience. Koi is a celebration of the passion and artistry behind koi keeping.
The event offers a platform to showcase our farm operations, highlight incredible Japanese koi, and introduce new hobbyists to the world of koi shows and high-quality koi fish. It has also become a meeting place for pond builders, industry vendors, aquarium enthusiasts, and water feature professionals to connect, learn, and grow within the community.
