The Yamabuki Ogon koi are instantly noticeable due to their metallic gold sheen, which brings life to ponds. They are also appealing because the vivid, shiny yellow pigment they possess transitions from soft lemon to deep yellow gold, never seeming to dull. The name “Yamabuki” derives from a bright yellow Japanese flower. This colorful koi perfectly symbolizes the name's meaning.
At Fitz's Fish Ponds, we stock Yamabuki Ogon from the most reputable Japanese breeders, including Marusei, Izumiya, and Yamasan. The graceful movements of these koi make them stand out, as they are known to enhance any pond design, making it look more lively and colorful.
