Distinctive Red Tancho Marking

This recognizable feature gives the Tancho Sanke a memorable appearance and adds to its traditional Japanese appeal. Combined with the Sanke pattern, the red head marking contributes to this koi's distinctive visual character.

Classic Sanke Coloration

Sanke koi are known for their traditional combination of a clean white base, vibrant red hi markings, and contrasting black sumi accents. These three colors create a balanced and eye-catching pattern that has made Sanke a popular choice among koi enthusiasts. On this Butterfly Tancho Sanke, the classic coloration complements the distinctive Tancho marking.

Elegant Butterfly Fins

Butterfly koi are recognized for their long, flowing fins, which create graceful movement through the water. These elongated fins distinguish Butterfly varieties from standard-finned koi and add elegance to their overall silhouette. Paired with the Tancho marking and traditional Sanke patterning, the flowing fins give this 20cm koi a distinctive presence in the pond.
